About Us

Twenty-two years ago, James Hasselle established what has grown to become the largest and most successful Mortgage Choice business in Australian history.

Today, with more than 35 full-time team members, branches stretching from the Sunshine Coast to Sydney, and more than $2.5 billion in home loans under management, we have helped thousands of Australians buy property, structure their lending and work towards a stronger financial future.

Through more than two decades of working closely with Australian families, one thing has become incredibly clear to us: there is a massive lack of financial literacy when it comes to property, debt and long-term financial strategy.

Too often, people make major financial and property decisions based on emotion, incomplete information or ill-informed advice. Others simply drift through life without a clear strategy for their future and by the time they realise they should have done something differently, valuable years have passed.

Own Your Future was created to change that.

Our goal is to give everyday Australians the education, strategy, structure and ongoing guidance they need to make informed decisions about their property and financial future.
